The heavily modified Tie Saber was created on the junk world of Raxis Prime by the Jedi Jawa Het Krex. Using parts from previous Jedi fighters, and the remnants of a Tie Avenger. Het Krex was a scout for the hidden Jedi Enclave in the Unknown regions led by Jedi Master T'ra Saa. His purpose was to watch the growing Jedi Knights under Master Luke Skywalkers training, and see if they were ready to be informed of the other Jedi Enclave. Master Het Krex was instrumental in taking down several Yuuzhan Vong incursions, and was a key member of the new Jedi Council that introduced themselves to Jedi Master Ben Skywalker.
