The captain stood up.. he was a big man, a bit of a bulge in his midsection, but he had a pleasant smile and a welcoming demeanor. "My name is Captain Benjamin Wilson. Welcome aboard the USS Artemis... aka USS Neverwhere. This is one of the oldest most overused hunks of junk in the entire Starfleet. Shes got more mileage than any other ship, and shes seen things and done things that would fill an entire library back on Earth. Shes been rebuilt and refitted more times than I can remember, and we have so many backlog requests for parts and equipment we have our own chapter in Starfleet Requisitions. Shes done everything from picket duty to system patrol to cadet training to search and rescue. Shes got no less than four personal vendettas by various Klingon commanders, and she has the distinctive honor of being saluted by Commander Kor himself during the Battle of Vintus III. This ship is a museum piece, and deserves a place of honor there. But shes got heart and refuses to be shut down. Shes slipped through the cracks and escaped shutdown and the scrapheap by the skin of her teeth time and time again... and above all... shes still flying." he said proudly.
A story Ive been working on for a starship set in our current Star Trek RPG group.
Original parts by Captain Shade!
After our latest game, our GM decided we hadnt been experimented on enough... so she added heavy phasers to our nacelles.. poor overworked ship...
Heres one of many places its shared on with a link to this design
But cus its easier for me to use im using JAFisher's Excelsior class parts based on Vance's ship parts
ITS SO AWESOME!!
