Seriously damaged.. so its been a minute since I've been able to even use my computer. Recent health issues, my arm damage and now my eyes getting blurry have caused me to take stock and just try to focus on recovering my health. Losing weight, resting, and taking care of myself has taken priority.

Good news? I can do art again. I'd like to thank all those who have contributed to my creations. Without you I don't think I'd even have a DeviantArt account. It helps me to create the visuals I have in my head. Please be patient as I am still taking care of myself health wise, but hopefully I'll be back to my creative self.

So I went through all those months of classes to get my CNC machinist card, and of course, on week two of my new job, I slip on ice and hyperextend my arm.... badly. Good news? No broken bones... Bad news? Seriously torn tendons and muscles. So bad I have been out of work for the last two months, and even typing on my laptop is a one handed endeavor. Today I just got two cortisone injections, and the doctor says that it takes a week for the medicine to fully work its way through the muscle and arm and until then you may feel some slight discomfort.... in other words, STRAP THE HELL IN CAUSE THIS IS GONNA SUCK!

so... pain... lots of pain. I honestly told the doc if it was an option, just go full Winter Soldier on me, and just take it off and give me the metal arm.

After completing my CNC classes, and I sit here for the final half hour, I look back on this 90 days and realize that I accomplished something few do, or even want to attempt, and I realize, that I did not know what this feeling was, and came to the realization that it was pride. I am damn proud of myself for succeeding in these classes. Special shout out to Jim Giorfy, my machining teacher, who was instrumental in my success. I want nothing but success and happiness for him.

I am pleased to report that I passed CNC manufacturing classes. However, the laptop I borrowed from the College Library will be returned tomorrow, so I wont be able to post pictures for a while until I get a decent paycheck to get one of my own. Thank you all for supporting my addiction to starships, pretty girls, and all things sci-fi.

Well, been going to classes for CNC manufacturing. Its going very well. I have to give props to the teacher, Jim, whos remarkable at unlocking the smarts locked in the dumb of my head. I look forward to having a decent career instead of a job. As for my art, Ive been drawing when I can, and posting between classes. One step at a time.

Today, I am sick... no its not the plague.. I got drenched in the rain yesterday and now I am paying for it... stuffy nose, sneezing coughing... just drank half a bottle of Nyquil to kill it. I hope you are all having a great day and I look forward to posting more starships in the future!
