Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

I have two personal favorites...

The first is from the movie Blade Runner. Roy Batty saving Decker from the roof and his quote.... the music, the staredown, and then Roy stating: "Ive seen things you people wouldnt believe... attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I've seen C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tanhauser gate... and all these moments... will be lost, in time...like..tears in rain. Time to die."

And then he dies.... it was a moment of pure emotional awesomeness.

My second is from the TV anime series Robotech. Rick Hunter is in his bunk listening to noise coming from his neighbor Max, who had just gotten married to Miriya. She cooked the coffee pot... but as Rick is laying there, he starts to think to himself...

"Roy, you used to tell me, that before you could love someone, you have to like them first... I like Lisa.. I think I.. oh I dont know.. Im so tired... I'll think I'll just....."

And then he was asleep, and the camera pans over to the stars out the window... to me.... that was pure emotional perfection.

Some movies that always get me:-Capricorn One, The Dead Zone, Heaven can wait (Warren Betty version), Starman, Tom Horn and Breaking Away. And can't help it...Robo Cop when he returns to his home that is being sold and has a vision of his wife. Heck I even tear up to Star Wars. LOL PLANETKURTH

Somewhere in Time...always had the hots for Seymour. Even though the time travel part is well...no way, goofy, you still root for Reeves to get there (1912) some how. Taking just enough time he gets there finally then he's a full fledged geek! With his decade old suit he's a roomless stalker. When Plummer's charactor has him attacked I so wanted Chris to become the man of steel LOL! The photo, the coin with Seymour yelling Richard over and over. Then all he has is that portrait of her now knowing she was looking at him when taken. I sure miss Reeves.
Bicentennial Man...I thought I was a master of knowing classic movies and that I've seen them all? WOW you got me...I've never seen this, but I'm going to now! Cool I'll hold faith in your taste for sure! PLANETKURTH

Do yourself a favor.... find Robotech and watch it... first anime series to come to america, and it totally was amazing. Actual character development, first interracial couple in a cartoon, first interspecies couple in a cartoon.. actual main characters die! It was the greatest series I ever grew up with.
